about

a continuation of “all that remained was the beating of our hearts”, a journey of farewell, acceptance, new chapters

there were a number of ideas which remained from the sessions of my prior album that i did not wish to leave behind, and since february of this year did i nurture them into more realised forms. events of my life would colour much of the pieces in shades of uncertainty and hope both, which leaves a longing imprint which gradually builds into a finale of release

look no longer to the skies obfuscated by gray tufts of ambivalence with apprehension, but soar through the heavens where doubt may no longer plague your heart

dedicated in loving memory to my cat clooney, my comfort, co-conspirator, confidant and at times co-composer, who passed away in september of 2023. to the thirteen wonderful years we had the fortune to share
